Contrary to popular belief, we are not a club in the traditional sense of the word. Instead, we are a loose affiliation of divers made up of two core members and a host of others who rotate in and out as they come and go from Korea.
Since we're not a club, there are no membership fees, monthly dues, fines, fees, forms and other general hassles that come with trying to start and maintain an organization. We are a buddy based organization that goes diving every weekend, weather permitting. This means that you can always find at least two of us diving at any time. Anyone is welcome to come along.
A giant in the dive world, the all-knowing, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-caring, grand high exalted mystic ruler, Maha Al Kang-i, better known to us as Doc.
If you ever have the misfortune of having to call the DAN hotline in Korea, this is the guy you'll be talking to. Doc is licensed medical practitioner who specializes in Ear, Nose and Throat, Geriatric medicine and hyperbaric medicine. He also speaks fluent english (even slang) so you don't have to worry about a communication barrier.
Doc is an SSI Instructor Trainer, DAN O2 Provider Instructor Trainer, and a former PADI Course Director. He also owns the Guryoungpo dive resort by Pohang.
